NURSE Communication between physicians and nurses is a critical component to efficient and safe patient care. The CMR© Information System greatly enhances communication among clinicians by utilizing our passive tracking system – the “White Board”. The white board is flagged from documentation within the nurse’s or physician’s record. The ED staff quickly learns to manage the flow of the Emergency Department by simply glancing at the white board. CMR© utilizes a traditional layout that clinicians are used to using. Our Chart view allows the clinician a quick, easy way to review patient care and documentation. The ability to import previous medication and history is not only a time saver; it facilitates more accurate documentation of patient history and medication reconciliation. Templated procedure forms ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation requiring minimal effort. This is just one example of how CMR© works with the ED clinicians not against them.
